Carie Steinkamp, Paralegal
Carie Steinkamp graduated from Des Moines Area Community College in December 2005 with a Legal Assistant AS Degree. As a volunteer for the Court Appointment Special Advocate Program, Carie received thirty hours of specialized training to handle the many sensitive issues involving children who have entered the Juvenile Justice System. She helped to work toward a resolution in the best interest of the child/children through personal interviews and observations, attending Court hearings, and reviewing and drafting case reports.
Carie’s responsibilities as a Paralegal include preparing legal documents for a variety of case types and partnering with clients throughout their cases. During her Internship and current role at Ginkens Law Firm, Carie has experience in coordinating and managing Family Law cases including Dissolutions, Custody, and Paternity matters. Carie also assists with investigation and discovery in preparation of trials involving slip-and-falls and other related personal injury accidents.
